I made a St Patrick's Day Card with a fun paper strips background that I laid down in a quilted pattern. I varied the size of the strips and the direction of the strips to give that quilted effect. Scroll through the pics for a look at this process. I made two cards, with different graphic design sentiments. I stamped them with VersaFine Clair Inks and popped them up on foam for a bit of interest and dimension. One of the designs I used two tones of ink for an ombré effect on the sentiment. I gold embossed the card base edge for a little bit of bling and shine. I used Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing Powder for this and an Embossing Dabber. The edge of the sentiments, I ran a gold ink around to tone with the embossed edge.
