Give a Cheer
I have this lovely stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that has this cool Scandinavian inspired imagery. I have a real love for Scandinavian Folk Art and Design, so this appealed to me very much. I have made a few creations with this set, but kept this one quite simple. I used Distress Mica Sprays to create the shimmery background and stamped the image multiple times over top thanks to my MISTI, with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. The best in my opinion for stamping over Mica, but does require multiple stamping for good coverage. I diecut the panel with a retired Whimsy Die that had a round square layer, popped it up on foam and added it to a kraft card base. I wrapped some May Arts Twine around the card base and over the stamped panel for a bit of interest. Then I stamped the sentiment below for quite a simple and elegant finish.
