Give a Cheer
I made this as a 21st birthday 'bookmark' card. I used a cool stamp set from Hunky Dory's For The Love of Stamps collection. I used a Whimsy Stamps postage edge slimline die as the matt for the patterned panel. I ran a strip of ribbon behind the image panel before adhering it to the matt layer, then added the two top layers to the designer paper base. The second image panel shows the paper before I added the white panel to write the message on. I stamped the image panel with a mix of stamps from the Hunky Dory stamp set, then ink blended over these with Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Bundled Sage and Vintage Photo. I distressed the edge of the image panel with Vintage Photo all the way around the edges. I wanted it to have a masculine feel to the blending so chose colours to give that feel. I added a little 21 diecut from glitter cardstock to complete the design and adhered it to the bottom left corner of the image panel.
