Give a Cheer
I made this cute card for my nephew who recently had a soccer themed birthday party. I loved how this turned out and it actually inspired a little series of makes themed around hexagon nested dies. It was so fun to create and gave me lots of ideas! I've used a fabulous Whimsy Stamps word die for the sentiments, which I inked with a Kaleidacolor Ink pad called Blue Breeze. It creates such a fabulous ombr effect. I popped up two of the letters with foam for a bit of dimension and interest. I backed the card with another white circle, which I scored about half an inch from the top edge to create a hinge and glued the half inch section to the back of the front card panel to create a top folding hinge design. The finished card size is about 5 inches in diameter, so pairs well with the Gina K Square Envelopes.
