This Pickup Stick Tool is from Trinity Stamps. This tool is double sided and features a jewel pickup tool and a pokey tool. One side has a white wax tip that can pick up many kinds of small embellishments. The other side is a pokey tool to help in releasing die cuts from dies, to poke holes in paper, and more. Both ends have a cap both for safety and to prevent the wax from drying out. There are wax replacement tips available to purchase (sold separately) so you never run out. Please note that the wax tip does not need a lot of pressure to make it work. Also, do not expose it to heat, as the wax will melt.
I thought the idea for this tool was great. Not sure if i got a bad one or not. But my caps do not stay on. I pull it out if my tool caddy from the cap and only the cap comes out. When I am working with one side the cap falls off the other side really easy. I really wanted this item to work. The concept of this tool is great I really liked the fact it had caps that is why I got it. Only put would not recommend due to the design flaw not the functionality if of the tool.
I love this but it rolls everywhere. I use it a lot but it can be frustrating when you set it down and it starts to roll away or across what you are doing. I am not sure round was the best design. It would be prefect if it was triangle shaped, even if just in the middle.
This pick up tool from Trinity Stamps is great and easy to work with. I love having the two tools together. I just flip from one end to the other with ease and it's one less tool to keep up with in my somewhat messy craft area.
I have been trying to use this but I can’t seem to get the hang of it. Not sure if I’m not putting ‘enough pressure but can’t get it to pick things up
