Give a Cheer
My friend of 50 years just came for a visit this past week and boy did we have fun playing in the craft room, having her join my monthly card group party, a day of wine tasting and countless hours soaking in the hot tub and sitting on the patio. She has been mainly a scrapbooker but recently is getting into more of the advanced things on the Cricut and made me a beautiful framed piece. I introduced her to Julie Nutting stamps, tags, dimensional cards, a mixed media piece with a resin mold, stencils, texture paste, distress ink, a reverse canvas, the Maremi collage books, a shaker ornament, a domed Christmas display and an altered cutting board. She was overwhelmed but had such a great time just playing with new things and kept saying, "I need to get some of that!" Specifically stickles and she was intrigued with the resin molds. Sent her home with two of them to play with. She is now on her way back to the airport and the craft room is way too quiet! So enjoy these projects that she made with all of these supplies.
