This is a picture taken on my dd's eighteenth birthday. I scraplifted a lo by Laura Solomon. The title is from a song and the journaling says:
If I could
I would try to shield
your innocence from time
But the part of life I gave you isn't mine
I watched you grow
so I could let you go

As a mom I would love to shield her forever but I know I have to let her grow up and find her own way.
