Give a Cheer
This is a lo I did for the October use your Supplies Challenge. This is week 1 - Using Brads.
Techniques:
Distressed my journaling strips
Inked thickers and button brads and put glaze over top
Used paper piercer to put brads into ribbon
Did a folding ribbon technique
Distressed picture
Used circles n' circles for semi circle
Also used corner punch
Journaling is an original poem by me, it reads:
Looking to the future,
But can't help looking back.
Everything was so simple,
Life was less complex.
How can this little star shine on her own?
How will she know which way to turn?
This little girl is now a distant memory.
She is all grown up and on her own.
She has no choice but to travel through each storm.
To learn from each experience.
And make due with what's in her hands
Hoping her past will shape her future, there's no turning back.
