Your first day trying to snow tube at Perfect North. We've been sledding before at the house but this was your first ‘big hill' experience. You were gun ho to do it but you were nervous even riding the belt to the top.
We got to the top and you looked down and realized it was bigger & higher than you thought. It went really fast and scared you, and you started crying at the bottom. But since you are a little ‘dramatic' at this age I couldn't tell if you were really scared or playing it up.
I wasn't going to let the fear get the best of you. There was a baby hill that I let you go on by yourself a few times. After 6 times, you had to go down the big hill with Mommy. You handled the second run much better even though we got turned around and went backwards. No Tears!
We went back to the baby hill for a few more runs and then you and took me up to the taller hill. This one was super fast and put you into a complete panic. You couldn't even catch your breath. I realized you had done your best and it was time to call it a day. It was worth the 2 hour drive and the $50 for an hour of play just to see you try. I'm proud of you.
