Give a Cheer
Another rose shot I took my first month as part of the Photo of the Day group here at sb.com back in 2009 -- this is my Radiant Perfume.
This is for the March Monochrome Challenge - Week 2 Yellow. I did the twist -- flowers.
There's a bit of lace dyed with Glimmer Mist behind the tear in the upper left. I used Liquid Pearls to make the centers of the little Prima flowers in the corners. The yellow roses are the last of a RAK from way back from Provinca - Thanks, Anna! I doodled some stitches in white around the outside edge and the large circle.
The yellows in the LO are brighter than they photographed here, and the title stands out better IRL. The rose photo looks a lot better on my monitor than it did once I had it printed -- and the photo of the photo here makes it even worse. The original is here if anyone wants to see it:
