Give a Cheer
A drip watercolor background in shades of green were the perfect base for my diecut layered sweet violet. For additional interest I stencilled all parts of the flower using the Patchwork Kite stencil. As I love vellum, I stitched a layer on top of the water colored leaves for more dimension. I also used sewed lines in shades of green to tie in with the leaves and to mimickI the running water color lines. The sentiment is heat embossed directly onto the panel. I love how this creation turned out.
