Very dark and rustic. Love the idea of a place to keepp postcards. I collect them from my friends who travel. Love this!!

post card box (altered tin)

I have tons and tons of postcards--I actually collect vintage ones--so I wanted to have a cool place to start storing them
I painted an ugly old micky mouse tin brown (after using a metal primer. Then covered it in Stemma PP using yes paste---then covered it in Modge Podge.
Had WAY TOO MUCH FUN with my cropadile and punched a ton of holes in the tin, and tied ribbons (all are stemma except the muslin strips),
Chipboard letters are rusty pickle--I cut them down (they were too big), sanded and distressed them, and inked them. also added a couple more chip letters painted with my initials and a tag.
