The glazes are used in exactly the same way as a traditional embossing powder with an embossing medium and heat tool but the effect is different. The end effect is translucent so you can colorize black and white images with the glazes using the Distress Embossing pen, and you can stamp an image for example a fish in a pond scene and then add Broken China in the pond since the color is not opaque you will see the stamped fish image in the pond underneath the glaze. It is also great for mixed media as you can layer with the glazes and use with the Distress Texture Pastes for cool effects. The glaze also can be used on Ideology to colorize resin and charm pieces.
