Does the mica stain need any special care in using it? I sprayed a small amount on the corner of a scrapbook page and let it sit overnight. When I touched the page on one of the larger drops, it smeared on the page, and some came off on my finger. Does the product need to be heat set or treated in any way to prevent this?

I used regular cardstock. No shiny surface. I did not spray with water first. I will try again.

I used regular card stock and Kraft paper. I misted the paper with water first then sprayed with the colors.
