I really like these cards. They resist watercolor really well, so the resist image really stands out. I'd love to see these offered in more designs!

They resist what? Watercolors? I do not understand what they are resistant too?

An image is embossed on the paper. When you apply watercolors, they’ll move away from (or resist) the embossed image. This also works with inks and sprays.
