Love it! The app is ok, not great. After you use it a bit, it seems to time out or something. So I have to close the app and re-start! Save your work from time to time. Other than that I love it and hope it keeps going. The ink lasts awhile too. Still on my first cartridge and it keeps going! I have only used on paper, no ribbon or washi yet. The alignment guide is great!
I purchased this product over 2 years ago and I loved it. Unfortunately there is not ink cartridge replacement so when the ink runs out it's just a cute little cube sitting on your desk. I paid the full price for this so it is especially frustrating, but even at $129, the ink won't last long enough to get your money's worth.
I purchased this little printer for my junk journal projects. I learned how to use it, and it worked, so I use it to add type, quotes inside my junk journal pages & add emojis to my ephemera. Sometimes we forget to add a type detail and bind our journal. Now we can just place this little guy right on top of page using the guide and done. This little guys also personalizes ribbon for that custom touch. Highly recommend. Thank you We R Memory Keepers! Love, Love, Love it! Five stars!
I was really excited for this little guy to use in my planner/scrapbooks. It worked great for a few prints, then started printing in one color only. I wiped the print head multiple times and still no luck. I figured maybe the cartridge just needed replacing even though I hadn’t had it too long. I tried finding a replacement cartridge…they do not exist. I emailed American crafts directly about it and they stated they ended their partnership with HP. Meaning there are legitimately no replacement cartridges out there. They suggested a couple of “possible” alternatives but were unsure if they would work. Looking at reviews from people who have already tried that, they don’t work, because the chip is not compatible. They’ve also decided to make the app a paid subscription, even though once you run out of ink, the thing is basically useless. Really upset with this purchase since I barely got it 6 months ago.
Bought this and now I cannot find the ink for this anywhere. So someone spending $187 on this right now and not being able to buy the ink seems a bit much. If someone could please please help me find the ink.
Knowing that AC is no longer supporting this - there is no ink nor do their suggested replacements work - and the app will no longer be available after September (per AC), I can't believe they are still trying to sell these. I suppose they are just trying to get rid of what they have in stock. I have the printer and all of the accessories for it. It was awesome when it worked, but now it's just a paperweight. So far, I've not been able to find anything even close to this to replace it with.
