Someone asked a question about whether this could be used to cut circles in felt. I tried to do so and almost broke punch as the felt got stuck and the one piece of the punch stayed locked down. When I finally freed and fixed the punch, the felt was NOT cut through in areas. Would NOT try with felt again.

Can these punch through cardboard or matboard?

Hello, these punches are more suitable for paper and card stock. They have a thin area where the paper can be slid in, so something too thick can be a challenge to fit into the punch, and the leverage can make punching the material a challenge. It may be possible to use them on a thin chipboard.

These are punches, not stamps. The largest is 1and 1/2 inches, then 1 inch and the smallest is 5/8 inch.
