Alright all of you daily planner fans! You're going to love creating your very own hole reinforcers with the We R Makers Reinforce Hole Punch. You can use any paper you'd like to create decorative and fun .25" holes for your daily planners, journals, tags, notebooks, mini albums and anything thing else that you can think of! Included in the package is one punch.
This is a poorly designed punch in the fact that it doesn't punch cleanly....it leaves a couple of indentations onto the reinforcer ! You want a gold mirror finish reinforcer....it will be blemished ! That said, it does make hole reinforcers of any color or pattern you want. Wish they'd spent more time in perfecting the function of punch....the reinforcer is a great tool in the box !!! Which is why I would tell a friend about it & did not send it back.
Just what I have been looking for! I do wish it had a dropthrew hole in the bottom of the punch.
This is not only a super cool punch idea but the little circles are cute and work for so many things!
This punch is great, It is so great to be able to make a hole reinforcement in any color or pattern I wish.
Handy useful tool; not only does it make your punched holes more decorative, it also reinforces the hole!

Purchased this punch and couldn't be more happy with it, it works great and adds a perfect little touch to your project.
This is a nice and useful punch. It's nice to be able to make colorful or coordinating reinforcement. This is a quality little punch thst can also be used to make embellishments and even thumb notches for small boxes.
It's a great little tool to have. HOwever, punching a whole bunch of them out of a strip of paper poses a bit of a challenge as you can't really see to line them up in order to get maximum holes out of a strip.
Also I find the the reinforce circle gets stuck and it isn't easy getting them out as it doesn't come apart.
It works OK, makes the reinforcements. But the bottom is enclosed, not open, and I find that the paper rings are slightly distorted, rather than flat, and don't fall out easily (versus a punch with an open bottom, or removable cover on the bottom) I think I may prefer the reinforcement dies like the ones that come with the Sizzix Framelits tags.

When this cute punch arrived I used it to punch quite a few circles, they were beautifully cut and just what I had hoped for, however it's obvious that the dot of paper from the very centre of the punched piece isn't released as well. It must go up the shaft of the centre of the punch in a similar way to punches used for brads, eyelets etc. But where are the stored and how do we empty the punch? There's no info on the packaging and after spending quite some time peering into the insides of this thing I'm stumped! I'm hoping someone can help, or am I missing something here? (Apart from the dot at the centre of my punched hole reinforcer!)

I would run the paper through the Xyron first and then punch. If you turn the punch upside down you can see where you're punching and get maximum punches for one piece of paper.

A product line called Die Cuts With A View Matstack has premium adhesive cardstocks and Scrapbook.com sells this product. I use it for dies with intricate design and it is easy to cut, peel and stick. You can also use double sided adhesive sheets that you can find at scrapbook.com.

When you are trying to open the lever does it feel like it's going to break? I looked at the picture but when I try it , it feels like it's going to break, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Becka, the first time the punch is opened it's quite stiff, but now it opens fairly easily. If you hold the punch with the back towards you and use both thumbs to push up on the underside of the lever it should pop open. There's nothing actually holding the cap in place other than it being quite tight, imagine a plug in the kitchen sink and you've got the idea! Hope that helps, I posted some pics of how the punch opens in the project gallery attached to the product listing to show how it opens. (The gallery that's supposed to be projects made with the item !) let me know if you need further pics etc.

Yes! Washi tape and the reinforcement(s) will adhere together. I put the reinforcements on each hole of the page from the start so that the hole does not rip.

I often buy premade reinforced hole protectors, but they were out last time at my local store. Does anyone know if this punch is an accurate size, similar to those that are used by students for their large notebook lined papers?

This punch creates. 25" holes for your daily planners, journals, tags, notebooks, mini albums and should work well for notebook lined papers as well.
