This 5 piece die set is part of the Windows to the World Collection from Art Impressions. This set is designed to work with any of the Windows to the World stamp sets (sold separately). This die creates a shadowbox effect so that there is a square recessed in the card. This set also includes the word Hello. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately).
I like this die set. I like the wood grain of the window. I can hardly wait to experiment with this die set that I got to go with the little snowman on the sled set.

Haven't used the item yet, but look like good quality and found past orders with this company to be great!
I just used this die, and I love the look. However, the window dividers are very narrow, so when I embossed a wood-grain onto the die cut, the dividers ripped. Will have to try another method - I just cut out the dividers and used it that way, which works too.

What is size of the perimeter of the window? What size artwork will fit?

Hello. The actual window frame is a square with each side measuring 2.25 inches long, so the total perimeter would be 9 inches around on the outer edge. The little squares making up the panes each measure just a hair over 0.5 inch square. If you were placing art inside the box, it would need to be under 2.25 inch x 2.25 inches.

What is the DEPTH of the folded shadow box? I'm trying to figure if it will work for my particular project. It appears to be about 1/2"?
