I love that the stamps set came with extra goodies like the sentiments. The only thing I don't like about this set was it did not come with coordinating dies. I end up cutting the flowers with scissors which was not fun for me to do. For that reason, I don't recommend this set, because there are a lot more poinsettia stamps set out there with coordinating dies.

I have trouble lining up layering stamps but this one wasn't hard at all. The final result was beautiful. Can't wait for next year to use it on my xmas cards.

This is a lovely stamp set, which will give me a head start on Christmas for next year. I love the poinsettia, as well as the holly and whatever the branch with the berries is. Love the whole thing.

Everyone raves about Altenew products and gives good reviews so I figured couldn't go wrong with purchasing my first layering stamp set. I have purchased a couple of Altenew Sentiments stamp sets previously and was very happy with the purchases.
The stamps themselves are of good quality and I like the fact they are made in the USA. Maybe layering stamps are just not part of my skill set as of yet but, for the life of me, every time I tried to make a poinsettia it turned out horrible and blotchy. I have never had this issue before with any stamp doing this. Also, the directions for how to make the layers was pretty abysmal in my opinion. I found it difficult to align the layers. Neither dye, pigment, or hybrid inks made a good 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd impressions even using my Misti tool, especially in the center of the solid poinsettia base, which didn't take any of the inks well for some reason.
This stamp set may work well for others with more layer stamping experience but, I would not recommend this product.
My new go-to stamp company is Altenew..I have purchased several of their stamp sets, dies and ink pads and have found them to be of very high quality and fun to use. My only complaint with Altenew is that they are so popular that the ink pads that I want are frequently sold out or on back order!
These Christmas stamps are beautiful and I love the results I'm getting.
