This paper is the perfect shade of red for Christmas card bases. It is not burgundy at all as the color sample here looks to me, but is a very deep dark red. No matter what other shades of Card Shoppe card stock I use for Christmas cards, I always keep coming back to this color. The Card Shoppe card stock is a very heavy weight for card bases and comes in lots of beautiful colors, but peppermint is the one I have used the most.
I just love the color of this red. I plan to match it up with paper I already have to make Christmas cards.
I love this paper. Beware, though, it is very heavy...probably at least 110 pound. It goes so well with everything Christmas. Happy, too, that Bazzill makes this in 8.5" x 11". A great purchase. Can't beat Scrapbook.com's price either.
To me bazzill are the number one card stock to use for my cards and this color is one of the best for Christmas and Valentines day cards.

This is the most gorgeous shade of red paper I have seen. I can't wait to use it so i can get more!
The picture looks like it would be closer to burgundy than red. It is a light red color in real life.

What is the weight of this paper?
It’s pretty substantial. I would guess maybe around 100#.
