my mom just returned from this amazing trip! she could not say enough about all the amazing projects they did out of this very book! she even brought home extra kits for my sister and I to do!! i got a chance to sit down and look through every page... the details for each project are great and everything comes with pictures to follow along with ease! Cant wait to start on the fun things this book has in store for me!
This was a completely idea packed book. Well done by Heidi Swapp, Bazzill, Advantus, Tim Holtz. The detail of the projects done at this retreat were well illustrated. I have never been to CE but getting the book is a great 'second best'. This is my 3rd year getting the project idea book for CE and by far, this year's book was the best.

I live in NY so making to AZ has not been in the cards for me. Every fall I look forward to getting the Creative Escape book to see what's going on and all the great projects. This year was the best! Some of the classes really pushed limits.
So if you couldn't be there- this is the next best thing. Great step by step directions.
Careful, this book really makes you want to join in for the next Creative Escape. The pictures are really nice, directions are all spelled out and downloads are listed so that you can complete the project exactly as the participants did. Maybe next year I will go and not have to buy the book!
I had an amazing weekend at Creative Escape 2008; the ideas put together in this book are by big hitters in the business like Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp, Kelly Goree, Kolette Hall (studio g stamps) and Jenny Bowlin!!! These are AMAZING crafts, I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone!
I love how specific the directions are in this book and would have loved to have been able to go to CE but since I did not this year I atleast have all the directions for all the projects and plan to use them all!
I wanted to attend this event but I was not a lucky lottery winner....
However with this book and I recreate my own version of a CE weekend less the cost!!!

I went to Heidi's creative escape last year and so knew this year's book would have the great ideas presented at her workshops this year...and this one is full of some wonderful projects.
This book is jam-packed with greatness from some of the best in the business. There are so many wonderful projects...I think I've decided what some are getting for Christmas!
This is totally worth getting....filled with alot of ideas & inspiration from some of the best artists out there
