I was hooked on Out of Print by BasicGrey when I saw the first sheet in the video. Then all the embellishments were displayed and I went a little nuts. My granddaughter heard me say [after ordering] "Not fair...not fair..." and when it all arrived, she saw it and said, "Not fair...not fair at all" and then we opened it and she was very impressed [she is almost 7 and scrapbooks with me]. I will be having a lot of fun with this one. Thanks for the paper and embellishments!
I love the distressed, shabby chic look to these Basic Grey Papers... They remind me of Eric Carl's collage illustrations in his children's books... The black gives almost an Art Deco feel with the pinks and blues... Just Beautiful, and so versatile. I used some of these new papers at a Basic Grey class at GASC in Arlington June 2011, and fell in love with the line.
Lovely pastel colors with hints of vibrant corals, yellows and turquoise on a backdrop of intriguing textures is just the start of my description of this new line from Basic Grey. These double sided papers have fun and quirky patterns which can be adapted to any scrapbook style whether modern or vintage and everything in between.
I wanted this collection before I ever saw it up close and personal. I saw a tiny ad for it in a scrapping mag and decided on thhe spot that it would be one BG collection I could not do w/o! When I saw it in IRL it was all I could do not to buy 2 packages! So utterly charming!
I had a lot of fun making cards with this new Basic Grey collection! I made 10 cards in all and still had plenty of supplies and scraps to make another 10 if I choose to later on. I really loved the rub ons and the pop ups from this collection too!
