This 10 piece clear photopolymer stamp set, Black Cat, is part of the Big and Bold Collection from Colorado Craft Company. This stamp set features a large cat, a witch's hat, a tiny moon and stars, and four sentiments. These stamps adhere to acrylic blocks and can be used with your favorite inks, markers, embossing powders, watercolors, colored pencils, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). These stamps can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. I got this stamp set for the cat only because it has a predatory look in its expression, just like our semi-feral cat gets in her expression. I plan to cut the bottom sentiment so that I can just use the word, "Greetings." as I don't do halloween. I may have to dock the cat's tail to shorten it to fit on a card, as the sentiments and cat are larger than I thought they would be. But now, I have a good-sized cat image to play with and color in if I want a cat other than black, so I'm very happy with this purchase.
Whether you are a Halloween lover (like me and who wouldn't want to be? lol) or not, this is a great cat stamp. It is a very nice size and would also make a great pop up card (if you get the matching die) for any occasion. With the right coloring this can be a happy cat or a 'I am a CAT' kind of look. As an artist I find this a very cool cat stamp. Love the Halloween sentiments and the hat is very cool!
