I was not impressed with these Swatch Sticks. They reminded me of Tsukineko's double ended pigment inks. All they were good for was direct to paper watercoloring for backgrounds. They seemed dry and did not appear to have much ink in the chamber.
These are not what I thought they were. Each "stick" is doubled sided with little sponges on the ends. I guess I thought they would be solid sticks of watercolor. They work okay if you dab them into a palette or onto glass and then add water with the brush. I wasn't able to get a large amount of paint to work with so very hard to match colors. I guess if you are painting in tiny sections and don't need a lot of paints these would be alright. One of the sponge tips has already failed with the first use. The brush is okay.
