Description & Details

This Metallic Pigment Ink Pad, Silver is part of the Winter On Main Street Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs. This pigment ink pad is a light and cool silver metallic ink with lots of sparkle and shimmer. This pigment ink is archival, fade-resistant, and acid free. This ink is slow drying, which allows you time for blending and heat embossing. This ink will dry faster and be more permanent on porous surfaces. This ink can be used with clear embossing powder or a spray fixative (sold separately). This metallic ink will clean off your stamps with water, soapy water, alcohol, or stamp cleaner. Some ink may stay behind and you can use an old toothbrush to get in the crevices. This ink pad measures 3.68" x 2.43" and has a raised foam ink pad.

    Imagine Silver Balloons!

I wanted to stamp the balloons from Unitystampco dot com in this silver metallic shade, after being inspired by a blog post, against the teal balloons stencil using Catherine Pooler ink pads.

I love metallics so I bought all four metalllic shades. This way I will be prepared for whatever my needs are. I wish I had found something in brass though. Catherine Pooler has some of my favorite color shades in her ink pads, I hope to purchase more over time. Budget doesn't allow for getting them all at one time, mostly I just get a few light and dark shades of one or two colors to use on a card. My favorite combination right now is yellow with orange, so sunny and bright!

Not a very juicy pad. Could use more ink.

I used the silver on cards and it smudged even after I let it dry for a day. Could it be the paper I stamped? Or the fact that I stamped twice using the Misti because it didn't cover fully the first time?   By: User (06-Nov-25) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Hello. It could be the ink did not dry well due to temperature and humidity, so you might try heat setting it. It might also be the cardstock, especially if it is glossy.
