I just love Martha Stewart Punches! They have something special about them. This punch has embossed lines across the heart! So, not only do you get a lovely punched heart, about 3/4" across, but it is embossed! So cool!
This is the first specialty/double punch I bought, and have to say its a bit confusing to use. The directions on the box aren't very good, they mention looking through a "window" on the punch - what window? and I was still confused even after watching the video on sb.com. I guess I have to hope that the punched heart stays exactly in place while I try to emboss it.

it has a hard time coming out of the punch, if you won't to wast money buy this!!!
As others have mentioned, it cuts out the heart just fine, but it does not emboss well at all. This is the only punch from Martha that I have purchased and been totally dissatisfied with. It would be very cute if it worked, but it issues very mediocre to bad results. Even if you try to push harder on the punch for a better emboss all it does is cut the paper rather than emboss better.
I thought this was such a cute design - until I tried it out. It cut the cut - but the embossing was rubbish. It only embossed on a few of the lines.
I love the other Martha punches that I have, but this one was useless. What a waste of money .
