I just bought this item (mine is a little different with a circle design on the front of the product) this past weekend and it is great. It cuts through paper, cardstock and photos very easily. I can trim down a piece of paper in seconds and I know that it's straight, rather than before when I used my scissors. I love the rubber feet that keep it in place on the tabletop, it does not slip around. I don't know how I got along without it before now!
My only complaint is that the blade seems to dull pretty quickly. I just bought it and it already seems that it's cutting a little ragged and needs to be replaced. Even with that being said, it's still a great product. I will be able to use it for many years to come.

I could not live without my 12x12 Fiskars trimmer. Seriously! It is the perfect size to take with me to crops and store in my scraproom. It is lightweight and easy to use. I love the little bar that comes out from underneath to measure larger pieces. The blade slides easily along the bar and is inexpensive to replace when it dulls. I am not a fan of the orange color, but hey... it's still a great product. I would recommend it as good quality for the price.

I really wanted to love this trimmer. The size is ideal and the price was right, but after only 2 weeks it started cutting a tiny bit crooked. This is the same problem I had with the black Fiskars trimmer.
I also found that if you use it to cut pictures, the blades started to give a fuzzy cut after just a few uses! I was changing blades really often. Now I use the Fiskars bypass trimmer for photos and use this trimmer only for paper. Much better!

The old fiskars paper trimmer was awful, so this is a big improvement. It's hard to see exactly where you are making the cut so that can be frustrating, but it cuts straight and there are a lot of lines to make sure everything is even. The ruler slides out from the bottom and it is very easy to read. Overall it's okay, there are better ones out there, but you get what you pay for.

I like this trimmer alot. It's so easy to use & it's portable and lightweight so it fits anywhere! I use mostly 12x12 papers, so this trimmer makes it easy to cut my papers straight because of the little pull-out edge on the side. the blades are also really easy to replace. I've had this trimmer for a few months & use it almost dailly & i still haven't had to replace the blade!

i have had several trimmers in this price range and this is the best by far. the blade has stayed sharp much longer. i have yet to replace it where i was replacing blades monthly with previous ones. this is a GREAT trimmer in my mind. i have not had any problems as mentioned by some others. i have been using mine for some time now and as long as i am not going at a super fast rate of speed my cutter cuts beautifully straight lines.

I believe that this is my first paper trimmer i bought specifically for scrapbooking. It has nice, straight, cuts and has the most awesome pattern on it! I like the way that the blade guide comes up and that there is and expandable ruler. I also LOVE the gripper feet and that it COMES with an extra blade!

I use this trimmer on almost every single LO I make. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment so my scrap space is small. I know some of you can relate to that. I needed a trimmer and I needed something compact - this guy was perfect. The only problem I have is that sometimes I don't get a straight cut but I'm pretty sure there is some user error on those cuts. The extendable arm is sturdy and easy to read like all of the inch markings. The blade is ergonomic too. Thanks fiskars!

This was one of my first purchases and I would NOT be able to function without it!!! I've tried others but I always return to this one! I agree w/Jaime Lynne about the color but it does make it easier to find in the middle of my scrapbooking madness :) This trimmer is like an old pair of comfortable slippers and a favorite pair of jeans :)

I recently bought this trimmer and I like it, I am an amature scrapper even though I have dabbled in it for a couple years. It grips the table really well to keep it stable. I just finished lo number 12 and used this for the first time on a layout. It works great and takes up no space. I have used it on a few other paper crafts and like its ease of use.
