Questions & Answers
  • Was wondering if you can use these with tim holtz stamping tool...one of my magnets broke and need a replacement   By: brendajp (10-Apr-25) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hello, we cannot test these magnets with the time Holtz stamping tool as we do not see this product. The magnets measure 15mm in diameter and are 0.8mm thick. If the magnetic you have is similar to this, it may work, but because magnets can have different strengths, these may not be strong enough. Because they were made to hold papers together/closed, there is a chance they could be weaker than what came with your platform. By: Scrapbook.com (11-Apr-25) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Are these magnets strong enough to use in a Misti? One of my round Misti magnets broke in half and I need a replacement. If these don't work, are there others that will?   By: Freebird Forever (10-Aug-22) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Apologies but not familiar with the Misti product you reference. These are very thin magnets which can be brittle if banged around. they are intended to use to secure papers so not sure it would be up to standard you need. • Is 8 in pkg. for 8 separate booklets, or 4 booklets.? I assume a pair is used per booklet, is there 8 pairs?   By: Barbara Edmondson (02-Jul-22) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • There are a total of 8 magnets per pack. You would use two to create a magnetic pull between pages - so 4 pairs. By: 49 and Market, LLC (02-Jul-22) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Magnets do not need another magnet. They are attracted to the opposite pole of another magnet OR a steel/ iron object. (Think: refrigerator magnets) If it was me, I would use super thin metal disks (I always end up w/ extra when I order those magnetic mount, motion activated lights), or super thin metal washers. Pair a magnet w/ one of those and the whole project makes more sense to me for several reasons. Maybe future packaging will include steel disks?!
