I recently watched the video that Gina K did with Scrapbook.com, using this foiling machine. I watched, because I have purchased 2 other, well known machines, which were never consistent. Since I sell my handmade cards, I need consistency! I watched the entire video and made a mental note of Gina's tips and applied them, once I received my machine. Voila~ every item that I foiled, has no un-foiled spots! I've used it for several projects with the same results. I'm a completely happy customer!
My first Fuse machine started smoking the minute I plugged it in, and Scrapbook.com replaced it for me. The second one worked much better. It foils easily although you have to insert the carrier sheet in VERY carefully and slowly for the rollers to 'take' it from you. I would recommend watching Gina's video's on how to use as they have several useful tips.
While I like my Fuse machine, I don't honestly think I will use it much outside of the holidays. The card fronts are pretty but the foils themselves can be hard to cut straight and you should have a sturdy ruler, cutting mat & a rotary blade to cut it with. I just think it's a lot of preparation for something I can get a similar look with by using my metallic embossing powders. It is a good product, just not for me and my kind of crafting.

I’ve wanted a foiling machine for quite a while and I took my time deciding which one I wanted to invest in. I finally decided on the Gina K Fuse System. It is a compact, powerful little machine that gives consistent results. As with all Gina K products, I know that Gina only wants to produce the best of the best for her customers. This Fuse is the best of the small foiling machines. It is perfect for card makers! Gina K and Thermo Web foil products are also the best of the best. You can feel the difference the moment you touch the foil products. Don’t waste time or money on cheap foil, your projects deserve the best. I highly recommend this Fuse foiling system!
Fools scare me for many reasons but I love how they look. I came across this method by accident by watching a video that was released a couple years ago and was intrigued by the results. So I then looked up the machine used in the video and this one popped up as well. I compared the two, watched a couple videos from Gina K herself, and decided to go for it. I made a real simple card with the materials in the package and I’m sold! So easy to set up and use. I can’t wait to do more!! If you’re on the fence, do it! You will have so much fun!!
Unfortunately, I have not had time to use my new Gina K Fuse; however, I am looking forward to it. The item arrived very well packaged, it is a small size which is perfect, easy to move around and store. Plus it is very pretty and fits right into my Craft Room decor.
Even though I have not used it , I am giving 5 stars for packaging, looks, durability, and the FUN I will have soon.
Received my Fuse today was real excited but then there was a $21.28
duty fee and then when I opened the box there was supposed to be 5
gold foil sheets only one was there but even at that after trying the machine out it worked fine but now I have no foil sheets to use until I order some more so as it took a little over three weeks to get here I guess I wont be useing it for awhile and my foiled Christmas cards will not make it out this year will try and order from Amazon from now on.

Will the Gina K Designs - Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets work in Minc?

From what I understand, yes, was told by another company basically interchangeable - minc and fuse. Please someone clarify this for us.

Will this machine work for 5x7 paper. I see the size specs but am a bit confused. I see the carrier folder is 6.25x6.25 so the real question is probably can I get a carrier folder that is over 7 inches long and will it work?

Hi, sadly, the only size carrier sheet that is offered is the 6.25 inch X 6.25 inch. There is not a larger one available.

Will a desktop laminator produce the same effects with these materials?

No, while both are used for applying foil to paper, a standard desktop laminator is not exactly the same as a Gina K Fuse; the Fuse is specifically designed for "laminator-style" foiling with more precise heat control and pressure, making it better suited for delicate materials and achieving a more consistent foil application, especially in the craft community, while a regular laminator might not be as optimal for detailed foiling projects
