  • Best Heat Tool Around!

This is by far the best heat tool I've owned. It actually gets hot pretty quickly. Because it gets hot so quick, I find that I am spending less time holding the heat tool to my projects and therefore experience less warping of my cardstock. As with any heat tool, it's helpful to hold your project in place with craft tweezers or some type of makeshift handle so you don't burn your fingers - this isn't any different with any heat tool you use. I find this tool melts my embossing powders like a dream. I haven't had any problems with this tool. It even has a little stand to help hold up the hot part after use. This allows for you to let it adequately cool down before putting it away.

    Precise and Quick

Best tool for precise heat embossing. Less warping of the paper because of the fast direct heat that the Wagner heat tool delivers. This also makes it perfect for heat embossing on vellum and even acecate.

    Wagner Heat tool

This is a great heat tool. My other one, which I had for years finally didn't work anymore. I noticed others were using the Wagner so decided to give it a try and it is wonderful. Heats so quickly and doesn't seem to scorch the paper.

    Too powerful for bookscraping

This was recommended for embossing and scrapbooking, however, it’s too powerful. The items will fly away and the heat is overempowering. For tubing and construction work may be suitable.

My main purpose is crafting and hence it should not be recommended here.

    Best regards
    Meg
