Yep, they got my attention with the gun being pink, but then to find out it was cordless - for me that was perfect! I live overseas in Germany, so anytime I wanted to use my American glue gun, I had to find a transformer just to plug it in. So, I broke down and bought a German one, the cord was long and bulky, it wouldn't stand up and it just became a hassle. Now, I have the perfect gun, it's easy to use and comes with a neat self-attached stand. I just saw the other day that there is even colored glue sticks you can use with this too! Another added plus - things just keep getting better and better! Just a note, if you want to take this with you to a crop, take out the batteriest before you back it up, this gun can get really hot and you don't need an accident if this came on accidently while moving around in your bag!
I have read the previous reviews about battery life. The type of batteries used makes a lot of difference. The batteries best for this product are alkaline batteries. Using heavy duty or some other types of batteries is not the best choice for this glue gun.
This light weight glue gun is great to take along to card making parties or to do whatever real quick. It has one
drawback - the batteries "can" occasionally fly out of the
gun while using it. (I just tape it on and I'm good to go.)
Glue guns are just for crafts, and I've found all sorts of projects I can use this for...particularly since I'm not tethered to a chord. Replacing batteries is easy, but be sure to buy good batteries that will last. It's so good, it doesn't need it's own stand, and when using it for small iems, like scrapbooking, card making, putting trim on small items, it is best to use a craft mat. Absolutely love it.
I had to have this glue gun. I have heard that the batteries tend to run out fast and will try removing them after projects or move to rechargeable.
The glues sticks & batteries are easy to insert, takes a couple of minutes to warm up, but be ready with what ever it is you wish to adhere. Love its kick stand and I can make endless paper flowers and not fret they will unravel.
Thanks Barb!!!!

I have had so many glue guns that I can't even count them.
This one, by far, is my favorite. Battery opperated yes but it still puts out a lot glue. I have had cordless before but they always had to sit in a base to charge. This one you can put in your purse and take it with you, no problem!
I love this glue gun!
When I saw that this hot glue gun was battery operated I had to buy it. However, now that I have been using it I am disappointed with it.
It uses 4 double A batteries but these batteries get used up really quickly. So far I have found that it lasts for only one project at a time. I bought rechargeable batteries for it because otherwise it would be too costly to use.
Even the rechargeable batteries can be used for only one project and then lose their power.
Thank goodness that these batteries will recharge in about 15-20minutes.
I find this to be a real nuisance.
I am also disappointed that the gun doesn't really make the glue very hot--so far I've just been using it for gluing paper flowers to my projects and this seems to work.
I received my order from Scrapbook.com very quickly. Within a couple of minutes, I had put the batteries in, and the gun was heated up and ready to use. The trigger is very easy to pull, and the glue was dispersed exactly where I needed it to be. Excellent product! Would definitely recommend!
cordless is so handy! i take the batteries out after each use so
they don't wear down.
you can make the smallest dot of glue with this.
the only problem i've had is that it's a little wobblie- not enough to make me feel unsafe but could be a little firmer.
Love this glue gun! I could not wait to try it out and was extremely pleased with it. The best thing about it is there is no CORD! I like how the glue shuts off when you release the trigger...no dripping.
