I had researched trimmers for awhile, and this one came highly recommended. It is BIG, but it fold for easy storage. The blade is super sharp and will cut the tiniest slivers of paper. The magnetic ruler is great too. Also, Making Memories has AWESOME customer service if you ever have a problem with it. It is pricey, but it is the one thing I can't live without when I'm scrapping, so it makes it worth it!

Love my trimmer. It does take a little getting used to, and is a bit pricey...but since I never have to replace the blade! You need to be sure to use the grid to line up your projects, because the fold can make the top and bottom edges not line up perfectly. This trimmer will cut even the smallest slivers off the edge of your paper. Don't try to cut too many pages at once, or chipboard as it can make your blade assembly jump the track.

This trimmer came highly recommended by many users I've talked with. And they are correct! It is easy to use, trims well, and can cut multiple sheets. I also like the fact that there's no replacement blades to worry about. I use it almost all the times, except for going to crops. The size and weight of the trimmer means that it is not that portable, which is fine for me since I have a lighter one for traveling.

I teach classes so I need a trimmer that is durable, can cut multiple sheets, is accurate, and portable. Thie trimmer is all of those tings and more. My favorite feature is the magnetic ruler--you can attach it to the trimmer at say 4". Then you butt your paper right up against the ruler and you'll get perfect 4" cuts every time. I love this for making multiple of something like mats or cards.

I've never used this type of trimmer before. I've only ever had the guillotine type. I was skeptical and thought there would be a learning curve. There isn't! This is the best thing I've ever used! I love the preciseness of the blade. It makes beautifully thin mats! I am in love with this trimmer!

I had two different Fiskar Trimmers. Both developed a "hook" at the end of my cut. The only way I could get a decent cut was to go slow and pull it towards me.
This MM Trimmer is by far the best trimmer I have ever used. From the tinniest sliver of paper to the biggest cut. Towards me, away from me, fast or slow....I get a perfect cut every time. I love that I can use it folded or laid out flat. And the magnetic ruler, wow that definately has some holding power! If you lose anything metal off your desk, check the back of your trimmer it is probably there! If this trimmer were to break tomorrow, I would not hesitate to buy another MM Trimmer.

I just purchased this trimmer, and it is the BEST trimmer I have ever used. I gave up on my Fiskars trimmers because they don’t cut perfect and the blades get dull fast. The best feature on the Making Memories trimmer is that the blade is self sharpening!!! Love that it folds for portable and easy transfer and the quality is just amazing! It cuts with such precision each and every time! BUT you do have to make sure you line up the paper properly when you open the fold!

This trimmer came highly recommended to me by my fellow board mates on this site. I waited forever to get it (had to save up) but to me... the wait was more than worth it! I have used Fiskars trimmers (the cheapo flimsy ones), the ProvoCraft Zision trimmer and the Cutterpede. Out of all of those, wowzer! This baby cut a piece that was literally like a strand of hair. It was THAT small! I have not had any issues with it at all and I don't foresee that I will have any! A great product that is well worth the investment!!

i have bought about every trimmer there is out there and none of them cut right . this one cuts straight and it great love it .. self sharpneing so no more replacement blades to buy and store.. it is ready anytime you need it

I like this trimmer, although the blade gets off track at times. It is nice because it folds and cuts very straight. It's heavier than I thought it would be. Overall, one of the best trimmers out there.
