This album is beautiful. The leather, combined with the stitching and bow, bring this album to a very classy level. This is my first time using a ring-binder, and I must say that I really like it. I had forgotten that this was a ring-binder, and I didn't even notice the rings when I started loading the album. The pages are very easy to turn. There is enough space in the album for either thick pages, or to add refill pages. I plan to use the extra space to store all those little mementos from our family vacation (tickets, postcards, etc.).
The Pioneer Scrapbook Box Albums are very high quality! I bought 3 of these, simply based on the photographs here, and the nice comments.
The covers are made very well, the 3-ring system is easy to use, and the included page protectors fit nicely.
The best feature of these Box Albums is the actual "box" design because it will protect the album pages, and the album construction through the years. When closed, the Album is a box and sits beautifully. The satin tie-ribbon is a lovely touch.
Pioneer also provides plastic page protectors for this Album. Extras can be purchases -- use the Pioneer brand. They fit in place perfectly!
I plan to purchase another Album in the near future -- in a brown -- for my genealogy photographs and records. I've been a genealogist for nearly 20 years and found nothing worthy of my extensive photographs of ancestors. Until now.

Very well made scrapbook with lots of room for extra pages.
I waited a long time for this color to come in! And, oh Boy, am I glad I did!!! This box is exquisite, in whatever color you choose. The high quality construction, weight and feel, give it a most elegant presence. I had planned to do a lot to it's face, prior to receiving it but now, I don't want to destroy it's look. I am presenting it to celebrate a new great niece with the confidence that she will enjoy the special pages I put inside long until she is as gray as I am now. Just beautiful. A true treasure.
Absolutely beautiful album to start placing my Great Grandchildren's pictures in. I purchased the Navy Blue one because years ago I had bought the same one in Red and I was so pleased with the quality of it. Excellent company that takes pride in their products.
