I make 4.25 x 5.5" cards. I was hoping these dies would work for frames and backgrounds, but the sizes didn't line up with my card size so that was disappointing. Nothing wrong with the product otherwise.
Scrapbook.com sent me the entire complete nested die kit that this lovely set is in and requested that in exchange, I offer a blog review/tutorial with entirely unbiased opinion on them. I was happy to do so. I have only ever known Umbrella Crafts to create outstanding quality products and these were no exception. I was grateful for the opportunity to get my hands on them and I find the size range in each nested set in the variety kit, to be really well thought through. They work great. Cut very cleanly. Even cut through doubled cardstock with no problem. Very happy with them.

Hello! The sizes are 1x3 inch, 1.75x3.75, 2.25x4.5, 3x5, 3.5x5.25, and 4x6!

I have the first original Sizzix machine. I purchased some stand alone dies and they won't work in my machine. Has anyone run into this problem and have an alternative for me?
I haven't tried it, but I found the adapter for my machine. Google and you might find it. Now that I have I realized I could have bought a used one and it would have been as useful.
We're sorry to say that the adapter for the original Sizzix machine is no longer manufactured and we do not know of an alternative to make thinner dies work in that machine.

Does this work with a Sizzix - Sidekick ?

I am not sure of the dimensions of the cutting surface on the sidekick. The largest umbrella crafts die is about 4 inches wide, so the opening would have to be that wide for the largest die. I believe the sidekick has a smaller opening, so only the smaller dies in this nested set would work with this machine. The sidekick is great for traveling! You may want to invest in a larger machine to use at home, so you can use the larger dies in this set.
