If you make a lot of the paper bag albums or smaller albums this machine will help speed up that process. It is not electric so it requires a little work, feeding the paper in and turning the handle. Each sheet will cut to the exact same size. It will cut Bazzill cardstock like butter, but the instructions recommend NOT cutting chipboard. It will cut the thinner paper up to two sheets at a time, and the blades are self sharpening. I would not recommend cutting the papers that have glitter on top or the raised foam, as this might damage the blades. Great Machine I'm so glad that I've added it to my collection of scrapbooking tools.

This machine is AWESOME! No electicity, just a little crank. SO MANY USES! I am a teacher and can't wait to get this into the classroom as well!
I was a little skeptical that I would like this, but from the moment I put in my first piece of paper to cut and turned the handle I was totally amazed. It works so well that all I can say is WOW, I love it! This is going to make it so much easier to complete mini books as well as other projects.
I love my new Zutter DreamKutz. I like to make cards and little notes and this makes it a breeze...no measuring, second guessing, just put the paper in and crank it through. It has been well worth the expense.
This is great to use to make albums... all your pages will be EXACTLY the same size! Wonderful!!! My kids can even use it without me having to worry about cutting themselves!
I just got my dreamkutz in the mail Friday and I really love it! Paper cuts like butter! I'm still experimenting and I just ordered some arcylic and chipboard to also use on the blue bind it all! Enjoy!

It's a bit of a balancing act to load the paper exactly level (without a leveling line as a visual). If you don't get it exact the cuts will be crooked and then nothing is square. It is a nice concept, but I use more 4.5x6.5 and 4.25x6.25 as mats and you can't cut either of those sizes. That is unless you use 11x14 paper and first use a different cutter and cut you paper down to 9x 13 ?? or 8.5x 12.5 ? Convenient in some ways, but a pretty high price to pay for something that limited. It does cut and handle very smoothly. If I can't figure out a more definite way of always getting a straight cut, I'll send it back!
Dreamkutz is the best cutter I have found and it really is so easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone. This would be a great way for kids to cut their papers for school projects.
I make alot of cards for charity functions and the zutter cuts the card blanks perfectly - no more just a little off to fix, etc. when using my hand cutter.
My daughter helped me cut 4x6 pages - and thin clear plastic covers for a memorial album we were making for my husband's grandmother. I'm very uptight about straight cuts, and this did a FANTASTIC job! I love that you can cut all different sizes - 8x8, 6x6, 4x6, etc. Kids can help with it, too. It's safe and easy.
