Now it's easier than ever to adhere your metal flakes to your mixed media art projects with the Gliding Glue by Art Extravagance for Prima. Included in the package is one 2.7 fluid ounce bottle of gliding glue.
This is a great glue, not only for adding metallic flakes, but also for micro beads, glitter and even paper in a mixed media application! You get a ton and it doesn't take much when applying so it will last a while.
Used in this project: Salvaged Patina Mixed Media Raven Skull Box
I used this glue to put flakes on metal gears and it has been almost 5 days and it is still tacky to the touch. I have used my heat tool a few times, and I just cannot get it to dry. I watched a tutorial on the finnabair site on how to use it and I used a small amount of glue. Idk, I may have to use some matte medium or something to try and cover it up? I don't want to use paint obviously because I want the Steampunk Flakes to show. So I would be careful about using it on metal. I will be trying chipboard, which they used in the tutorial so I am hoping that will work out.
I'm new to this website and every product so far has been A++++++.
