I love the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks! They make blending easy and make beautiful backgrounds. They also stay wet long enough to allow you to lighten or darken the color and if you are stamping, you can use embossing powder all before it dries.

I purchased this set for some holiday card making. This color, Candied Apple seems to be the most vibrant holiday red of the Distress line. The set comes with both the spray and ink pad. I like to use both. I recommend this set. The red color is great.

Would have given it 5 stars, but the package was stuck together, and had to pry the top open, now it won't stay closed tight. Also, I didn't pay attention to what I was ordering, I have never used the Oxide type ink before, so I am not sure if this is what it is supposed to do, it smears easily, kind of chalky. Otherwise it is a pretty color, old barn color, which worked well for lipstick. The smears just added effect like a kiss
