I typically use two different brands of ink pads but wanted to try Simon Hurley since I follow him on YouTube. I purchased four colors and am quite disappointed. There isn't as much ink as with the other brands I use. I tried the direct ink to paper technique and could tell how little ink is actually on the pad. I would not buy this brand again.

This color isn't as purple as they make it seem on videos. Its a great color don't get me wrong just thought it wouldn't be as dark as is. These inks are a dream to work with even for a beginner like me. I've tried many techniques I've seen in videos with them blending, water color, spray with water, stamping with rubber and clear stamps. They're super easy to work with even if you use low quality tools and cardstock. They blend just like they do in videos. You will not regret buying any of Simon's inks.

This is a beautiful berry color, stamps and shades perfectly. Great for card backgrounds, I love the way it matches the Triple Berry Lunar paste !
