It’s kind of like a turquoise color. I have a lot of the blue distress oxide ink pads and this is a great edition to my growing collection. It’s well saturated as well.
Distress Oxide is a great product and peacock feathers is a fabulous color!
I love the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks! They make blending easy and make beautiful backgrounds. They also stay wet long enough to allow you to lighten or darken the color and if you are stamping, you can use embossing powder all before it dries.
I've purchased several before; this time it was Peacock Feather,Salty Ocean, and Twisted Citron; There is a learning crave to using this kind of ink. I prefer the small cubes because they are easier to handle.

What is the difference between distress ink and distress oxide ink? Can they be used interchangeably?

Distress Inks fall into the family of dye inks. Dye inks are transparent in nature and, due to their "thin" quality, dry quickly. Distress Oxides, on the other hand, are primarily constructed of pigment ink, a type of ink that is opaque and, due to its natural thickness, dries more slowly. It is important to note, however, that Distress Oxides are technically a hybrid - containing mostly pigment ink, but also some dye ink too.
