On the flip side, you'll find our Original Magic Mat® - a non-magnetic self-healing cutting pad tailored to fill all your die-cutting needs. While the magnetic side of this mat is not self-healing, it will produce the cleanest cut you've ever seen!
If at any point your Magnetic Magic Mat does not go through your machine smoothly DO NOT FORCE IT. Forcing the sandwich may damage your machine and Magnetic Mat.

Oh. My. Goodness!! Do I ever love this magnetic mat! When not in use as a cutting mat the Plus (9x15) is used to house my dies for whatever project I am working on and so far (knock on wood) I've not lost the first piece. What a fantastic deal.
Also love the Scout (3.5 x 9) magnetic magic mat since many of the dies I use fits nicely on the mats, saving me space and having to pull out the larger die cutting platform.

This is my third Magic Mat. I love them.
But I don’t know what happened with this one- it was too large for my Big Shot Plus.
It was difficult to crank through and I just thought it was because of my sandwich which is my go-to sandwich.
Then I realized it’s because this mat was too wide and was scraping along my machine spewing pieces of the mat being shaved

A really great tool! Magic magnets hold dies precisely in place much much better than the original Sizzix magnetic platform which does not always hold dies exactly where you put them. Magnetic magic mat is more convenient than mint tape for holding dies on the mat. . When precision placement is required, the Magnetic magic mat is your best friend. Highly recommend.

What used to be both fun and a chore/headache (aka, die cutting) has in an instant become both fun and amazing because of this new magnetic magic mat! Adding 'magnetic' to the magic mat has stepped up the die cut process to a whole new level, I'd say near heavenly :) (I look forward to a magnetic magic mat for my new Scout :) ) TY!!!

I like how the mat works but after a short period of use the mat was badly damaged. I am afraid to try the heat gun because the surface has risen up and buckled. It looks like it was melted but has not been near heat. I have emailed the company but had no response back. I would appreciate feed back to weather and try the heat gun or what. It was put through my Gina K Designs Intri-Cut Die Cutting Machine.

Just when I thought the Magic Mat couldn’t get any better! The Magnetic Magic Mat is a game changer…again! I just spent 2 days die cutting for an event and didn’t use one piece of tape to hold my dies down. The magnetic hold isn’t as strong as I was hoping for but the dies don’t move when cutting so who am I to complain. The dies hold stronger when laid cutting side up and you could do that with intricate dies that aren’t stamped images with a regular Magic Mat as your top plate.

I got this to use in my Stampin' Up die cutter and it make die cutting so much easier. The plates catch more easily now that I replaced one clear plate with this. It is not super magnetic, but holds strongly enough to get the top plate on there before I send the sandwich through. Glad I bought this.

I love the concept of this mat, but the magnet is just okay. I'm sure if it was thicker, it would be a better magnet, but then it would not make the ideal sandwich. It IS better than nothing. When the die cut machine bends the plates, it makes it worse. It does work better on dies with a lot of metal, for sure. Maybe consider taking the other unmagnetized side off. I have used this in my Jr. Gemini and the Platinum 6.

Yessssss, I was absolutely excited when these were available. I was one customer who requested this. I love the magic mat and that these can be used together instead of a hard plastic plate. I love the Empress machine by Anna Griffin especially because it came with the magnetic plate. Now SBC has this magnificent magnetic mat that I can use in other machines it is absolutely great. I am happy with this mat. It holds my dies in place without shifting. I use the flip side for cuts like Gina K master layouts requiring no or little tape. My mat did form a bulbous warp in the middle almost immediately which is why I gave it 4 stars. I use it with the Platinum 6. I warmed the non-magnetic side a bit with my heat gun (not recommended by Scrapbook) and put a ream of paper on top over night which flattened the mat.

Hello. The Magnetic Magic mat should be cleaned by gently scraping or brushing the surface free of loose paper pieces. No further cleaning should be necessary.

Hello, we have not had the chance to test the Magnetic Magic Mat with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur as one of our compatible machines. However, this mat can be used in many machines by replacing the cutting plate. We always encourage people to give it a try. Remember, your sandwich may need adjusting based on your machine. Hello. We have not tested this machine with the Magnetic Magic Mat as we do not carry this machine. However, the Magic Mat does work with most die cutting machines that have an opening of at least 6 inches.
