  • How easily does this acetate die cut? I have some I purchased from Amazon (don't remember the brand) that will not cut all the way through no matter what (I've tried MANY different dies with MANY different sandwich variations!).   By: Lisa_GK (19-Jun-23) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Depending on the thickness you may need to use an electric cutting machine as a die-cut/embossing machine with a metal
die may not have enough pressure to cut it all the way through. An electric cutting machine has the option of increasing the cutting pressure guaranteeing a cut is strong enough to cut through the material. • How thick are the acetate sheets?   By: hclowery72 (30-Jul-22) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I would say that they're not real thick, but substantial enough to use for shaker cards which is what I was using them for. I was happy with the purchase. By: cleod2833 (01-Aug-22) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Are the acetate sheets heat resistant?   By: weny35 (20-Oct-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I use heat resistant acetate sheets and stamp with embossing ink, add embossing powder, and activate the embossing powder with my heat tool. When you use a heat tool you must use a heat resistant acetate sheet or the acetate can melt. Remember to use the static resistant powder before stamping. I hope this helps. By: fmkupec (01-Mar-26) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • That is an interesting question. I have not tried heating up acetate sheets. I have done heat embossing on vellum and that turns out perfectly fine each time i have done it. I wish i could help you more. Perhaps another customer can chine in on your question. By: Mimiviva (22-Oct-24) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
