I bought 6 of these (glad I did not buy 12) for WIP. Triple checked the size to make sure I could fit a standard 4.25 x 5.5 card front in them, along with the coordinating die cuts for the card, and was good to go. Well, the curved corners of the tray cut too far into the space and a standard card front will not fit in them after all. The actual rectangular space inside is about 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". Totally negates the whole "stacking" thing and renders them completely useless for my needs. $12 lesson learned.
ETA: SB.com has now added to the description that these do not fit an A2 card front. Also noted that while they did make that change after posting my review, they never reached out to me directly. Disappointing.
There are several uses for these trays. I have die-cut pieces, divided by project, in some. Other trays hold embellishments for cards and miniatures for displays. These trays have many uses - they are perfect for keeping track of small items.
Great size and sturdy. Exceptional price on sale. I use mine for organizing die cuts. I would have given these 5 stars except there’s no cover for the top tray. Looking back, this was stated in the description but I wasn’t aware when I purchased my set.
I was struggling to keep all my tiny die cuts organized in different sized bowls on my desk. The bowls worked, but created clutter and gave me less space on my workspace. The stackable nesting of these bad boys is EVERYTHING. Perfect size for all kinds of die cuts. This is keeping me super organized while also having a clean workspace. THANK YOU! I'll be ordering more, especially during my holiday cardmaking bonanza.
I love these so much. So glad I bought the 12 pack. Great for organising small bits on your desk. Would love if you could buys lids for these, then I could use them for when I am playing with multiple embossing powders.......Pretty please Scrapbook.com, would love some lids. :) :)
I got these to help me with the little die cuts, ephemera, pearls, gems, sequins, etc... They are just what I needed! I bought the quilt dies and wanted to do multi colored triangles on it. I had them scattered all over the desk top. What a mess. Now I use these to keep everything together ❤! Thank you
Purchased these to keep my die cuts and emphera organized while creating cards and I love them. Just the right size; small enough to not take up too much space on my desk, but large enough to hold a wide variety of pieces I need to keep handy.
I've only had these trays for a few days, but they've already become a "go to" supply in my craft room. I can't even tell you how many times I've lost little die cuts and such on my desk while crafting, but that problem has been solved! Now I can just keep all of my die cuts in the tray until I'm ready to assemble my card. They're a really nice size without being too big, but will still hold quite a bit, too! Thanks for another awesome tool, SBC!!
I received these trays just in time to prepare for a weekend of virtual card making classes. I was able to cut all the pieces from the homework and organize by tray. I am very pleased with these trays.
