This 2-piece die set is really great. I didn't realize until I received it that the outline die actually embosses, or I should say "de-bosses" the sentiment in the cardstock. Way cool! I used it the 'normal' way and cut the letters from glitter paper, which makes a snazzy way to add the sentiment to a card. I also cut just the outline from white core cardstock. Sanding lightly brought out another whole 'dimension' (pun intended) in tone-on-tone, with the words darker, of course, and the "outline" lighter. Next, I cut the outline again, but just from white cardstock. I lightly 'pounced' a distressed ink pad over it, and that left the white letters 'edged' by the light green shade used. Going to have to try that with dark cardstock and pounce with distressed oxide ink. That should turn out pretty as well. I actually got this set as a freebie with a large order, but it's well worth the $ at regular price. That 'de-bossing' feature makes it so versatile, and guess I should mention that it also makes it super easy to get the letters right where they should be. I often struggle with getting an "even" outline around die cuts with matching outlines, so this is a great feature so far as I'm concerned. And, another thing I like about this set is that the letters are a single die, as shown, rather than a bunch of single letter dies, so all letters are cut at one swipe of my old Cuttlebug, but each letter is separate. So, if the letters weren't de-bossed into the outline I would have to struggle with trying to get 13 different letters "even" with the edges of the outline. And the font is great, which also gives another way to use the die -- just use the letters without the outline! Really liking this die set!
You can never have too many birthday dies. This die set adds a little whimsy to your project. Love it...thanks for the freebie SBC! I would have bought this die set, as it is a great price, if it hadn't been a freebie with purchase.

Love this set of 2 dies - one cuts the base-the other cuts the individual letters. The sentiment is perfect for any card size and having 2 dies makes it easy to use contrasting colors. This was a free set by Scrapbook.com and I will get lots of uses from it!
This is a nice die which was a freebie. I used it the day I received it.. it’s a good size but kind of a pain to glue all of the letters down. For some reason I had trouble with that a]even using Nuvo glue. 🤷‍♀️
Love the funky letters of the happy birthday die. Can use the letters separately! Had fun using them in a birthday card yesterday.
