This pair of Pro Shears is from Spellbinders. These are long-bladed, heavy-duty shears that are made with a non-stick coating that helps make cutting easy, no matter the surface. These scissors are specially formulated to cut through the entire line of Spellbinders Glimmer Foils (sold separately). This pair of shears measures 9" x 3".
These are my favorite scissors ever! I love the non-stick blades, how they slice through paper like butter and the comfortable handle makes cutting paper (and fabric) super easy. They are not heavy in weight or light in weight, Quality product that will last!
This is the first pair of ‘non stick’ scissors I have bought that are truly non stick! Love that. They are sturdier than a lightweight pair of scissors and have performed beautifully on a number of different weights of paper/cardboard. Everyone’s hands are slightly different and that would certainly account for some people’s complaints, but I think they are great and totally worth trying! Now to order the smaller pair…!!!
I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase this is it. They cut like butter. So happy I made this purchase.
These do cut very smoothly, but they are heavy and uncomfortable to use. The plastic grip does not extend far enough down the handle so my finger ends up pressing against the side of the metal when I close the blades. I find the weight and grip awkward and difficult. I am a female nearing retirement age with an average to large hand.
These scissors cut well but are extremely uncomfortable. The handle is covered in hard plastic with no give. The thumb grip has the oddest shape - the handle ends up jammed against the bone at the base of my thumb. Even the old-fashioned scissors with metal handles were more comfortable than these.

Would like to know if the new Spellbinders scissors , 9 in and 4 in, are Teflon coated/nonstick? Thx

Hello, both the 9 inch and 4 inch scissors are made of a non-stick coating material.
