I love this product!! It is fun, so easy to use, and provides you with the die cuts you want, period. If you are a multi-crafter (you sew, knit, paint, scrap, whatever), you may not be looking to spend hundreds on an electronic machine. If you are concerned that you would not use the electronic machines enough to make it worth the investment (as I was), this is the machine for you!! It uses die cuts from all of the major manual platforms (I love the Cuttlebug embossing folders! Worked like a charm!), and the accessories are very reasonably priced. It is extremely stable--heavy enough to stay put on your table while using, but is not too heavy to take with you to crops. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone!

I researched die cut machines & pretty much had my mind made up to get one that needed to be hooked to PC. After much thought I realized that i did not want be on the PC while doing my scrapbooking, I would end up checking email ! So I started checking the machines that took all dies & decided on the BIG SHOT. I am so happy I did.
It is soooo easy to use. Basic directions & no cords!!! It went from box to layout in just a matter of minutes. By using the MULTIPURPOSE PLATFORM you can also cut thinner dies.
The roller is so easy... not hard to turn. The machine has enough weight that it does not wiggle when cutting, yet is light enough that it is very portable.
I highly reccommend this! Plus I love the colors :)

I admit, I bought this because the new design was just too cute to pass up. :-) I have used a Cuttle Bug for several years and been happy with it, but decided to treat myself to a Big Shot. I'm so glad I did! It takes up more room on my desk than the Cuttle Bug but it seems like dies and folders just glide through whereas with the Cuttlebug. I had to hold it in place (suction cups no longer work) and really work the crank to get some dies to go through! I also can use an extra thin die I've had for awhile but could never get it to work with my CB, as well as the thick Sizzix dies and over sized ones too. Very happy with my purchase!

I received my Big Shot early in March and have used it to emboss only. i will soon be cutting some wafer-thin dies. I have to say that this is the best manual embossing machine I have ever used! I leave it sitting out on my table and it is so stable and heavy that the embossing folders just roll right through with no wiggle and very little effort on my part. I will be doing a lot more embossing and die cutting with this machine. The convenience of having it right on hand and always ready to go is a real treat for me. I am less likely to use a product if it is a big production to get it down off the shelf, open it up, hang on to it while I roll folders or dies through, etc, Access is really important. I love my Big Shot!

I was not a fan of roller machines but decided to try this one out. I love it! It is a great all around machine........I can use all the dies from my other sizzix machine plus the dies too big for my old machines. I love the texture plates and the Multipurpose platform is great for incorporating other dies like the flat ones. The other great thing about this machine is the weight. It is sooo light and the handle on top makes it easy to carry from room to room. I don't know why I did not try this out sooner!

Easy, effective and worth every penny! I was using it within minutes and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't consider myself a "serious" scrapper like many of you, so bear that it mind. I play at scrapbooking for an hour in the evening a couple nights a week and my designs are simple. An electric cutter was overkill for me, but this fits the bill perfectly. However, I do think it would work beautifully for a more serious scrapper; I felt it would grow with me if I become more advanced or more addicted.

Have been wanting a die cut machine for a long long time. Chose the Big Shot after lots of reading. I chose this one for its versatility and the deciding factor was it was not electronic. For me scrapping is relaxing and a chance for me to get unplugged so to speak. I spend alot of time on the computer due to my Business and really did not want it to have be a part of my scrapping. LOVE LOVE this machine I am having so much fun..;-) Also the bundle was a great deal.

I LOVE my Big Shot starter kit. When you are just starting out, having the option to purchase a cutter that comes with some items is fabulous! I was so excited to use it when it arrived! Because it comes with some paper and cutters you can use it right out of the box!

I'll admit it. I got this for ONE reason - Texturz. That's it. All. Period.
Now I'm kicking myself for NOT grabbing one sooner. Y'know those Original Sizzix dies? The ones that will do CHIPBOARD, if you press hard enough?
Yeah. Roll. Smoosh. No effort. CUT!
AND, then there's the Texturz...I love love love them. Nice BIG embossing area. Great, crisp impressions. My new favorite thing!

Very satisfied with this product. I have another brand before this one and found it just didn't cut other dies well from other companies so as a result I became frustrated. Did my research and decided on this brand. Consider what your needs are and then decide on the brand that best suites it. So far this model has past all the test projects that I have attempted.
