This package from Sizzix includes two standard clear cutting pads, one pair, for the Big Shot Switch Plus machine (sold separately). These cutting pads are for use with the Sizzix steel-rule dies, wafer-thin dies, and embossing folders (sold separately). These pads measure 8.87" x 12.75" x 0.125". These pads are made of high-quality polycarbonate plastic. These cutting pads can replace your old cutting pads that came with the machine and they can be kept as a spare or for on-the-go crafting.
I purchased this machine after reading all the reviews, with most of them being favourable. I am very happy with it. It is a little louder than I was expecting, but not enough to bother me. I love the way I can use reverse if I just have a small item to cut and don’t have to wait for the platform to go all the way through. I also like that the platform does not fall out when you run something through, but stays there till you take it out. And of course the beautiful rose colour is just lovely. I am so happy I purchased it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who may be in doubt.
I ordered a second set of standard plates while they were discounted. I wanted the standard size because my dies don’t require the extra length, only width. This size plate is a good balanced plate.
I purchased these because I wanted an extra set of plates so I would always have one uncut plate. Love the Switch Plus. Cuts like butter!
These plates are the perfect replacement for your used switch plates. They have tapered edges so run through perfectly.
I ordered and received these plates. I have used them twice. They are already starting to warp. I have turned them and moved the dies around and still they are warping. I tried several methods for unwarping my old plates too and NOTHING seems to work! I tried a standard set that doesn't have the beveled edges and can't get them to go through the machine either! At $33+ I'll go broke if I have to buy them every month or so!
After my original cutting pads going completely out of shape I am pleased to get these new ones. I haven’t used them yet and I’d like them to last longer than the originals. Time will tell.
