This machine is great operationally, but I was a little disappointed that it did not come with the adapter pad in order to use wafer thin metal dies. I expected the platform to be like the BigKick's and be an all in one, but it is not. It isn't a big deal that I had to buy it separately, just frustrating because I wanted to use the machine for all of my dies right away when it arrived!! Otherwise, I really like it!!
this is my frist die cutting machine!!! so far i just love it!! it is so much fun i did not know what i was missing!!!

i do not think i would have took the dive with out their shop!!!!!!!!!! The machine is very sturdy, and cuts like a wiz!!! i purchased some items for the machine already, bit if any one knows how to use the metal dies and what i need to purchase please let me know. i did around 7 projects in under an hour useing this machine and had a blast doing so!!! wonderful machine thanks scrapbook.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really love the ease of use with this machine. I went to a crop this weekend and used the crank handled machine and it was big, bulky and hard to work with. I really like the fact I can put everything into place and then hit the button to feed it through.
I agree it is a bit on the loud side, but it doesn't bother me or my family.

I tried this machine out in a class with Tim Holtz and loved it. You just put your die or stencil in and in the press of a button it is done. I used grungeboard with the embossing folder, didn't like it, reran it with another embossing folder and it came out great. It is very easy to use and it is easy my shoulders.
I am a tool junkie. And as such I have LOTS of dies and I use them all the time. This machine cuts them all and I am thrilled with it.
I have quite a few die cut machines - but this is hands down (no need for hands) the best one ever. Just push that tiny button and ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

I recently purchased this product after waiting what seems like months for it to finally be available. I have used it now to cut all the different dies. The only thing I haven't used it for yet is the embossing with regular metal stencils. For everything else, it works wonderfully. I have a hard time with cranking the other machine, and this takes care of that. I would recommend this product.
This is the best die-cutting machine out there. If I could only have 1 machine, this would be it. It's versatile and efficient. It frees up one hand that you don't have available while holding down the crank handle on the manual machines. It's also got an extended platform which is really nice. Did need to purchase the extended platform adapter in order to use it for wafer-thin dies, but well worth getting. It'd rate it a 10!
I waited several months for the Big Shot Express to be available and it was worth the wait! I took it to a stamp club meeting and the other women fell in love with it as well.
I absolutely adore this thing! I can only use one of my hands due to paralysis and have long searched for a way to create good dry embossing, i purchased the Cuttlebug in order to use the embossing folders but it was very difficult to erun them through the machine using just one hand when I saw the bs express I knew I'd have to have it! It's perfect, very simply and with very little effort I can now run my embossing folders through with the touch of a single switch! As long as the stack is up against the rollers it feeds through all by itself! Very satisfied with this purchase!
