I don't think I've ever disliked a thing that has Tim's name on it!! I really love the new Bigz Dies in his Alterations Collection for Sizzix. Iespecially like this particular die cutting template because the hanger can be used for so many things, not just the Hanging Sign. These dies are great, very Tim and I know I need them all!
I have used other die cuts from other places, but the Tim Holtz collection offers a little class to projects. I layered them to give a shadow effect and it turned out awesomely. Even the name plate can be used differently.....like a tag around the neck of the family dog! Can't wait to find more uses.
Love, love, love it! I wasn't planning on purchasing this until I watched the video of Tim using it and realized how it can be utilized. The dies cut beautifully and the holder can be used for corners as well. I hope Tim keeps designing more dies. I will eventually have them all.
I first saw this die-cut when my cousin was doing a scrapbook page that needed a vintage type sign. I figured there were a lot of ways to use it not just a sign so I invested in one for myself. Scroll sign holder by itself makes for lovely pages.
I bought this die, because you can use it in so many different ways. sign hanging from a tree post, a house. the flourish iron can be used as a dress stand. it can be used in altered art. lovely!
I love these "Bigz" dies, and I don't know why I waited so long to order any of them! Now I have four!!
It worked and looked beautiful. It was a little bigger than I thought it would be, not sure I would suggest it for small pages or cards but it worked good on the 12 X 12.
