1. It cuts cleanly. (I used a Sizzix.)
2. Versatile - you can cut the individual words off and use in many ways
after you've run the die through the Sizzix. Cut off single words - for instance just use"Birth" for a new baby card. Or combine Happy and day or "To YOU" on a gift card.
3. The entire die cut looks awesome with glitter paper, foil, and the usual card card stock, patterned and plain.
I've ordered several (if not all) of the products of this line and been very pleased with them. Excellent dies and useful messages. One caveat: You need to buy the complementary dies (like this one) to produce the full effect. The good news is that you can use the complementary dies on any project. A worthy purchase.
I saw the card example used in the video for this product and thought it was a beautiful card. It makes it so much easier than stamping or cutting out individual letters. I used it on thinly striped paper and with any die cut, they suggest you place a piece of tape to hold it in place. I'm fairly new to using Sizzix dies. It worked great on card stock, on thinner pattern paper, I had to run it through a few times then place another piece of paper on top since it's thinlit. I'm still learning!

It was only minutes after I opened my package that this "die cut" was opened and being used. A very nice addition to my craft supplies.
Always need b-day phrases, this one is very cute and the extra flower's are an added plus.

This is really pretty. Although I just received and have not used I have many of the others, thank you, happy holidays, etc..., they look very impressive on cards. Can't say enough nice things. The little embellishments that come with can be decorated or left plain and they look lovely either way! Love this!
From the moment this arrived it has become a staple in my card making. Birthday cards seem to be an ongoing 'to do list'...this die is the easiest way to make an ordinary 'Happy Birthday' become so much fun!!! I can't tell you how much I love this...shade the words with color and you have a show stopper.
I love this die! Sizzix has made a beauty here. I love that not every card you made needs a stamped sentiment. This die is the perfect alternative. You can do it in any color and it says exactly what you want it to. I started using this the first day I got it in the mail. I think it's just plain great~
The 'to' on this die is very hard to get lose from the paper. The die doesnt seem to cut deep enough to leave a clean cut.
The rest of the words come out very nicely.

will these dies work with theCuttlebug machine?

I did not find that the Cuttlebug machine worked very well with this particular die. I used the white platform with B & C plates and the cuttlebug did not cut the card stock all the way through. Maybe if you used a different combination of plates and shims, it might be alright. And it does state on the package, "Requires Multipurpose Platform or Magnetic Platform, or Solo Platform with Shim or Thin Die Adapter or Big Shot Plus Platform System." I used the Spellbinders Machine and the die cut perfectly. Good Luck!
